In this blog post written in April of 2009 I intended to explain a bit about how the ualr.edu web presence is structured from the top down. I also include a small history about how that structure had iteratively changed over time.
The post was intended for internal campus audiences who may not know much about how decisions are made about the homepage. People often ask me and others on the web team for “a link on the homepage” and this article helped me provide some background, especially when I have had to say “no” to their request.
